DTRA Arnie Ranta Motorsports Super Late ModelsBuilt from the ground up these cars are made to race. They run up to 410 ci engines and weight as little as 2300 lbs. Drivers carve the track using 15" Goodyear Eagle tires. The Super Late Models are the fastesst cars in the DTRA and battle weekly at Cedar Lake Speedway, River Cities Speedway and Superior Speedway. DTRA Bernick's Pepsi ModifiedsFast and exciting the Modifieds are very popular among fans and drivers alike. The cars run a minimum wheelbase of 107" and use a modified street car frame. The engines run on methanol and have a maximum engine displacement of 410 c.i. Modifieds can weigh as little as 2450 lbs. DTRA Winners Go Goodyear Super StocksThe Super Stocks are built off an altered passenger car frame and have a minimum wheelbase of 107" The cars run stock suspension parts with slight modifications. Engines are limited to 360 c.i. and must run gasoline. They must weigh at least 2800 lbs after the race. This class is highly competitive since the rules limit modifications to keep everyone equal.DTRA Merchant Card Int. Midwest ModifiedThe Midwest Modifieds are designed as an economical way to enter open wheel racing. Very similar to the Modifieds their engines are tamed down which makes this class very competitive. Midwest Mods have a much smaller rear spoiler.DTRA Grand Casino Street StocksThe Street Stocks are designed as an economical entry level division. Street Stocks are built out of any American made full frame car with a minimum wheelbase of 108" Engines are limited to 367 c.i. or 358 c.i. depending on engine type. These cars run on gasoline and must weigh 3200 lbs after the race.
